S.K.A. has invested in cutting edge manufacturing and production planning software to ensure on time deliveries.
Realtime Machine Monitoring
Real-time data is streamed from machine monitoring software and directly integrates with our ERP/MRP system.
ERP/MRP systems with Real-Time Production Tracking
ERP/MRP systems are planning software. They plan and coordinate all order variables such as the tooling and material suppliers, machining processes and their times and when items can be expected. This system creates accurate delivery dates and can also learn and adapt with historical data.
Our ERP/MRP system integrates with our Realtime machine monitoring, and CAM software.
For an example one thing this software does is correctly calculate order buffer time by looking at a specific process' historical data and checking for lateness. Say if a deburring or cleaning operation is late 25% of the time then it will correctly add in buffer time to compensate. Or if it notes a certain mechanical machine failure rate, then it will learn this and schedule a certain percentage of machines open and available to run in case of a machine breakdown or failure.
This means that even in the event of catastrophic failures like machine breakdowns, we will still deliver on time.
